LICENSURE EXAMINATION FOR CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT MAY 2010

A total of 1,886 out of 4,772 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in seven cities this May 2010, the Professional Regulation Commission said.

About 40 percent of the 4,772 exam takers passed the certified public accountant (CPA) licensure examination given this month in seven cities across the country, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday. [See complete list of passers at the buttom.]

Gecel Cabucan Codera of the University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City topped the 1,886 exam takers with a score of 93.14 percent, followed by Jan Marcus Ang Tang of Chiang Kai Shek College with 92.86 percent, the PRC said.

4. Ellen Joy Apostol Garcia of University of Santo Tomas (92.43 percent)

5. John Raymund Vincent Aliangan Fullecido of De La Salle University-Manila (92.29 percent)

Rene Boy Monsida Lebores of University of Cebu, Fernando Miano Monterola Jr. of Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, Reynaldo Macaloyos Prudenciado, Jr. of Christ the King of Calbayog, Jamil Montanez-Saripada of DLSU-Manila and Mark Solatorio of the University of San Jose-Recoletos (92.00 percent)

7. Mark Angelo Caana Acosta of DLSU-Manila, Mark Alyson Baguitan Ngina of University of the Cordilleras, and Jenny Belle Villaluz Rodis of DLSU-Manila (91.86 percent)

8. Julius Calungsod Ondoy of Notre Dame of Midsayap College and Randy Espiritu Ventanilla of University of Baguio (91.71 percent)

9. Chester Miguel Pacio of University of the Cordilleras (91.57 percent)

10. Ritchie Zanoria Tejana of University of San Carlos (91.14 percent)
